As part of the implementation of the Erasmus+ LEADS project – Certification of Linguistic, Entrepreneurial and Digital Skills in the Algerian Higher Education System, the team in charge of the English component met at the University of Sidi Bel Abbès from 22 to 24 September 2026.
This three-day working meeting represents an important step in the progress of the project. It focuses on the finalisation and harmonisation of learning materials, as well as on the preparation of question banks for the certification of English language skills.
The Algerian partners are also working on consolidating the resources and activities required for the implementation of the training courses and the forthcoming certification examinations, in close collaboration with the European partners.
The meeting highlights the importance of collective work and coordination among the partner institutions to ensure the quality, consistency and sustainability of the project’s results.
Through these activities, the LEADS project continues to contribute to the development of a national framework for the certification of linguistic, entrepreneurial and digital skills in Algerian higher education.
