From October 14 to 16, RTU hosted the second General Assembly of the Erasmus+ project LEADS (Certification of Linguistic, Entrepreneurial and Digital Skills in the Algerian Higher Education System). The event brought together 31 representatives from universities and other institutions in Algeria, Italy, Norway, Turkey, and Latvia.
On the first day the consortium looked back at the project’s achievements and set out deadlines for tasks in all Work packages. On the second day, participants worked in thematic groups to further define content for each of the skill areas included in the certification system: Linguistic Competence, Entrepreneurship, Digital Skills, and the necessary engineering and technical components that will enable the certification to function effectively. The final day addressed dissemination and long-term sustainability of the project and the planned results, followed by a summary and evaluation of the General Assembly.
The next and final General Assembly of the project will take place in Algiers, Algeria Autumn, 2026. Concrete dates are yet to be set.
